a well-known turpentine operator, en
gaged In business near Norman Park,
Oil, was found dead In his bed at the
Eagle Cafe In this city this morning
with hla throat cut. Fierce probably
committed suicide, though there aro ru
mors of foul play, which the'coroner Is
Investigating. He came to Valdosta
Monday afternoon and complaining of
being sick stayed In hla room most of
tho time. No reason Is assigned for
the probable cause of the act.

McGee, a well-known young man, died
