Miss Clara May Winn returned home
Friday, after a delightful visit In Cov
ington. as the guest of her cousin, Miss

been the guests of Mr. Harry Fischer,
Jr, left the city Friday, Mrs. Fischer
returning home, and Miss Fischer ex

relatives in Cedartown.
Miss Lenore Tinsley, of Richmond,

near Nashville, arrived Monday In At
lanta to visit relatives en route home.
While In Nashville, she was given a
dinner at the Watauga Club a few
nights before her departure, and was
also the honoree of several luncheons
and other entertainments.
Mr. and Mrs, Owen Phelan will leave
soon for a visit to California and other
points of Interest In the West.
Miss Elolso Bryant, after a short visit
to Atlanta friends, will return to her
home at Dalton on Saturday.
Mrs. S. C. Hill, who has been the
guest of Mrs. Calhoun Hill, has re
turned to her home at Newnan.
Mrs. Robert Wetmore, who Is being

Birmingham, will return to the city on

The Bridge Club, which Mrs. R. E.
Miller entertained Wednesday, was one
of the pleasant events of the week. The
first ptlxc, a pair of silk hose, was won
by Mlrs Bessie Woodward; Mrs. Ed
ward Van Winkle won the second, a
Dutch picture, and Mrs. Edward II.
Barnes cut the consolation, a perfume
bottle. The three visitors, .Mrs. Frank
Lester, Miss Render, and Mrs. Floyd
Furlow, wore presented with gifts. Mrs.
1-ester was given a fan; Miss Render
an amber comb and Mrs. Furlow was
presented with a box of candy.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Otis announce
the birth of a daughter.
Mrs. Walter F. Adams and Mrs. O.
F. Grady, of Macon, are the guests of
Mrs. F. C. Flanders, on Moreland ave
nue.
Mrs. B. D. Gray left Thursday for
Richmond to Join her husband. Rev. Dr.
B. D. Gray, who Is attending the South
ern Baptist convention In that city.

Miss Katherine Wooten gave a pretty
bridge party Thursday afternoon In
compliment to Miss Rae Schloslnger's
guest, Miss Taylor, of Kansas.
The house was decorated with
spring flowers and dainty refreshments
were served.
