Atlanta was selected by a unanimous
vote on Tuesday afternoon as the . next
meeting place for the biennial conven

The convention which decided this
has Just closed In Minneapolis. Al
though Atlanta was a candidate for the
convention two years from now, the se
lection by a unanimous vote comes as
surprise.
Local members of the organisation
had Governor Terrell, Mayor Joyner,
the Chamber of Commerce and ‘the At
lanta Hotel Men's Association send tel
egrams to the convention, extending a
cordial Invitation, and the Southern
delegation did some bard boosting In
addition.
That the delegation did hard, work Is
shown by the fact that both Dallas,
Texas, and New York went to the Min
neapolis convention to make a strong
fight for the convention In 1909.
The Order of Railroad Telegraphers
has about 60,000 members, but by the
time the next cbnventlon Is held It Is
believed there will be a membership of
fully 15,000. This means there will be
about 600 delegatea attending the At
lanta convention In 1909. The order Is
strong In the middle Weat and the
East, but has never been very power
ful In this section. It Is thought by
labor leaders that the bringing of the
convention to Atlanta will greatly
strengthen the organisation In the
South.

Posey'a body waa riddled with buck

It Is currently believed that the grand

There ore few who believe that

Pretty Priscilla Bowie, the cause of
the homicide, was n family favorite,
one of the belles of the surrounding

Posey’s failure to marry the girl after
the wedding date was set and the

opinion of many defenders of the "un
