EXPRESS OFFICES
CLOSED ABRUPTLY
If there Is not a change In Ita policy
of closing up. without notice, express
o(Tices where they do not pay, tha
them Exprese Company threatens
run afoul of the railroad commis
sion.
Recently many complaints have come
to the commission from polntl In Geor.
gla stating the express offices have
bean closed practically without warn
ing. Saturday such complaint came
from Hollywood. Habersham county,

was closed a few days ago.
The railroad commission has juris
diction over the eapreas companies, and
has fun authority to regulate them. It
has no disposition to be unnecessarily
hard on the express people, but It Is de
termined that guch arbitrary methods
of closing up offices shall not continue.
