Hodge, of Atlanta, with hi, band of
Christian workers, are meeting with
much success*. Every evening at 9:10
o'clock divine services are held et the
corner of College avenue and Clayton
afreet, nnd at night, under the tent on
the vacant lot adjoining the Child
Hirer; school.
Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock Mrs.
Shellhammer, of Atlanta, will conduct
a meeting for children at ths tent.

building of the University of Georgia,
the foundation atone, aa It were, will
be restored and repaired nnd put In use
as a dormitory on the college campus.
At the last meeting the trustees en
gaged two experts to determine on the
practicability of restoring and repairing
the structure, nnd they reported that
It could be done at an expense of 610.-
000. and could easily accommodate
seventy-two boys.
The college Is asking the legislature
to make the appropriation of 110,000.
The building was erected In 1*01 and
la still standing, but has not been used
for several years because It was con
detuned.

water steamboat Nan Elizabeth, which
was operated for a short time last sum
mer between Brunswick and Macon, la
now In the river somewhere below
Dublin, en route to Brunswick. The
river at this time Is quite low, and It is
not Impossible that the boat will en
counter many difficulties In making the
trip.
