sufficient support, and prices declined point

New York Commercial: Tn the textile
world there baa not been a similar half-
year within a generation and there never
waa a period when the country was at
peace, that values on textiles climbed aa
steadily upward aa they hare since Jsu

of the year, agents report that remarkablo
records have been established In silks, ltn-
ens, wool products and cotton goods. Man
ufacturers have been In control during the
entire period and have run prices up, lint
not above the parity with raw materials.

As July opens, the market for print cloth

yarn constructions and scores a higher scale
of prices. Discounts are helug shortened
and date* of delivery extended. For narrow
cloths In rgulnr and odd count, printers are
still seeking agents who will accent orders
for delivery this side of September. Ou
wide goods 7% rents hold as the nrlee of
spots. There are few spots In 39-Inch 6$x
72* or cloths of higher count, snd sales for
future delivery extend into the spring
months of next year on s price basis

Unsettled weather conditions prevail over
most of the map and showers have been
numerous in the last 24 hours. Hu In was

Northwest.
The pressure Is flat and with high tem
