aged 22 years, a lineman of the Bell
telephone construction force, while
climbing a telephone pole yesterday
afternoon, met death by electrocution.
Barker touched one of the primary
, wires of the electric light company wit!

pole and then backward on ths light

audiences each Sunday. This church

Sunday night eervlee by making these
cervices very largely constat of mualo.
As a rule, poople are not attracted by
the prospect of a long sermon on a hot
summer** night, but It la found tbat
they will glndly attend a eervlee where
music la made a large pert of the pro
gram,

hymns, old and new, nnd this congre
gational singing Is made an Important
part of the meetings. The church has

splendid statue ot Captain William H.
O'Neill was unveiled.

Mr. Borglum led the Ilfs of a cow
boy for years, and his atatuo of "Buck-
ey" O’Neill la said to be one ot th*
flneat pieces of work he has ever done.
It represents Captain O'Nalll In cow
boy costume, mounted on a wiry mus
tang. It la aatd that President Roose
velt saw the model and admired It very
much.
"Buckey" O’Neill was a typical prod
uct of the West—brave, dashing and
lovable. He had been cowboy, news
paper reporter and aherltf. When tbe
Spanlsh-American war began he had
already attracted attention In handling
"bad men.” And It was natural that
ho ahould ba drawn to President
Roosevelt'e Rougb Riders to light for
his country.
