Seattle, Wash., July 12.—President
Gill and Secretary Fowler, of the
Japanese and Korean Exclusion
League, have made a vigorous protest
to the officials at Washington against
what they term an organised trattic In
Japanese women, who, It Is alleged, are
being brought to this country In lurge
numbers for Immoral purposes. The
protest declares that wholesale mis
representation, perjury and fraud are
perpetrated on the part of the Immi

the part of the Japanese residents In
this country.
In connection with the traffic there
Is said to exist a gang of blackmailers

It Is asserted by officers of the league
that hundreds of these women art
scattered among the cities of the north
