Among the prettiest home weddings
of the season was that of Miss Myra
Westbrook and Dr. W. A. Rembert,
which took place at the residence of
the bride's mother, on Church street,
In Amerleus, Ou.. Wednesday evening.
Handsome candelabra on the mantels
and tables. In which burned white
andlc*. shed a soft light throughout
the house. Quantities of flowers were
grouped about the rooms. As the
strains of the wedding inarch, played
by Mm. Leonorn Sullivan, were heard,
the bridal party entered the drawing
room. First came Rev. J. B. Lawrence,
of the Episcopal church, then the two
attendants, Misses Eula Kleckley, of i
Oglethorpe and Bley Westbrook, coA*
sin and sister of the bride. Their
dresses were of white mull and they
carried shower bouquets of white roses
and the graceful foliage of asparagus
plumoHo. The bride and groom stood
In tin? center of the group. The Im
pressive ina’rrluge service of the KplH-
eopul church whs used. The bride’s
dross was of white chiffon, trimmed
with rich rare lace. She carried a
shower bouquet of lilies of the valley,
tied with long streamers of satin rib
bon. *
A tempting salad course was served
the guests, which was followed by deli
cious Ices, cream and cake.
The going-nway gown of the bride
was of dark blue voile, with a hand
some jacket. Her hat was of lace
straw the shade of her dress, trimmed
with wings and draped with a veil.
A number of friends accompanied
them to the depot and at 10:40 o'clock
they left for an extended trip to fan-
ada and to all the large Northern cities.
Dr. and Mrs. Rembert were the re
cipients «if many handsome presents,
attesting their popularity with a large
circle of friends. Dr. Rembert Is n
successful druggist In Amerleus. The
bride Is a general favorite among her
friends and loved and admired for her
stfength of character and winning per
sonality.
