increase of 18,000 barrels last week. The
quantity turned out .was 222,815 barrels,
gainst 264.455 barrels In 1906. Mills there

some Improvement In flour trade last week.
Iowa state report says: “The extent of
damage caused ny wind and flood* enu not

ued dull In all lines. The receipts have
been heavy In both peachea and water
melons, although the demand has been
good for both. »
Lemons have advanced to $6 per box,
and Indications are that they will re
main high tor awhile on account of the
extreme hot weather.
Bananas have been very scarce; In
fact, none on the market for several
days, as the stock will not carry from
ports and be salable on arrival. We do
not look for bananas before the middle
of next week, and then at an advanced
price.
Some few pears are being offered,
but the quality is poor. These, how
ever, are selling readily at good prices.
