IS POSTPONED
Bloomington, Ills., Aug. 9.—The ef
forts of the attorneys for Banker Fred
H. MagiII, of Clinton, III., anil his sec
ond wife, Faye Graham Maglll, to se
cure an Immediate trial on the charge
of murdering Mogul's first wife have
been defeated.
Judge Cochrane, In the Dewitt coun
ty court this morning, decided In favor
of State's Attorney Miller, of Clayton,
who had asked for a postponement of
the trial until the November term.
