The value of effective organization
has been demonstrated In the case of
the doctor* of the state. «
Sometime ago a number of the I arg
ot life Insurance companies, carrying
out a policy of retrenchment, cut the

medical ,
from 65 to ft. Strenuous objection
went up from the physician*, but it did
not avail. The examiners In small
towns particularly felt the cut.
Finally the county .medical societies
amlnatlons for 63. The insurance men
began to feel the effect* of this sort
of boycott. It hds resulted In the big
companies capitulating, and restoring
the examination fee to 65.
