One of the biggest picnics of the sea
son will be given next Tuesday after
noon from 4 to 10 o'clock at Grant
park by the Goto City Lodge, L O. B.

friends invited, but the entire Hebrew
Orphans’ Home, consisting of about
ninety children, will be sharers of the
supper.
The following program Will be the
order of the day:
4 p. m.—Boating on the lake, visit
to the zoo and playground and other
frollcz by the children.
3:30 p, m.—Hares, 100 and 220 yards,
relay races, shot-put and tug of war.
8:30 p. m.—Supper.
After the departure of the children
at 8 p. in., there will bo dancing at tbe
new pavilion.

morning the bride and groom will leave
for Lynnvllte to visit the latter's pa

with whom Professor McLaurlne has
been spending the summer while taking
a special course at the Peabody Col
lege. Later they will go to Indian
Springs, near Atlanta, for ^several
weeks before going to Alley to make

by this church as an experiment, but
have proved so attractive that they
have been continued throughout the
summer, and draw a good congregation
each Sttndny night. Jn addition to the
special numbers, there are plenty of
hymns for congregational alnging, and
tho services are enjoyable In every
way. Those who like good music and
enjoy helpful. Inspiring songs, will be
glad to attend the Sunday evening

a short visit. They will spend a month
