SATURDAY. AUGUST «, 1MT.
THE LAND OF DREAMS.
Bohold, til* sun Is shining there
And flowers bloom always.
The morning's dewy-llpped and fair—
A round of perfect days,
While song birds trill their ecstacy
•Neath skies of tender blue.
Ch, life Is like a melody
In the land where dreams come
true!
Gold minarets and painted lakes
And colors all ablaze,
Ths witchery that autumn takes.
To mortal eyes amaze.
Eaohanted scenes and bliss above
The course of earthly rue,
•And eyes to kiss and hearts to love
In the laud where dreams come
true.
A fairy land, a beauty land,
A land we seek In vain,
Kor never lies In mortal hand
The prize we would attain,
;£ut visions of the glory there.
