Mias Hortense Horne was one of the
most enjoyable informal events whfch
Ailed the social calendar Tuesday. The
luncheon was given at the Piedmont
Driving Club and assembled fourteen of
Miss Horne’s and Miss Knowles' Inti
mate friends. The color scheme of dec
oration was pink and white, and the
centerpiece was a great cluster of fra
grant pink and white roses placed In n
large silver bowl which was net on a
centerpiece of Renalssanoe lace. The
place cards bore the monogram of the
young hostess done In letters of gold.
Miss Knowles wore a beautiful gown
of silk In black and white, and Miss
Home was gowned In blue floth
trimmed with Cluny lace. ,
