General Davidson today addressed a
letter to United States Senator Bailey
as a sequel of Bailey's speech of last
Saturday night at the banquet to Gov
ernor Campbell.
The letter has not yet reached Bailey
at his hotel. It la known, however,
that among the atatements made In the
letter are two, In substance a* follows:,
“Suit will be started against the
Standard Oil Company” and "Inasmuch
as you know an much about the Stand
ard Oil Company, I shall call on you aa
