discussion.

nance providing certain regulations for
the driving of automobiles and It wu

were Injured In a wreck near the Southern
yards Thursday night, are both on the
road to recovery, and the danger point In
both esses, It Is stated, has been passed.
The Southern runs an accommodation
train for the benefit of Its emptoree* be
tween Simpson atreet and the Southern
yards. The train consists of an engine and
oue car. The engine split a switch shortly
after leaving Simpson street Thursday
night, which resulted In tearing both It nnd
the enr Into bits. Two freight car* were
on the track nnd both were demolished.
Fireman Hinton was thrown under the
tender. A fragment of the engine struck

Charles A. Walker, a yard conductor of
the Southern railway, waa run down nnd
killed by n freight train of the Southern

Thursday afternoon. Death waa almost In
stantaneous.

dabatera In the university It waa decid
ed to form an uiaclatlon of speaker,
nnd debater,, to be known u the Uni
versity of Georgia Debating League.
The following officer* were elected:

The object of the oraanlutlon It to
encourage debating In the university; to

The league will also regulate debat

There will be ten men In the league,
