railway—were Indicted at Charleston.
Judge Grosscup furnished $5,000 bond
for his appearance In Charleston.
The Indictments are the results of
an accident on an electric line near
Charleston last August, when eighteen

rium-armory tinuril Tueeday afternoon
In Ihe offices of Morgan A Dillon, the
archltacta of the nsw structure.
Architect Morgan, of the firm, went
over alt Ihe plans thoroughly and made
every explanation and answered every
question that would enlighten the mem
bers of the committee. The committee
wanted to understand the plena thor
oughly so that a comprehensive report
may he made to the general committee
at the next mating.

Norfolk. Va.. Oct. 30.—In a raid last
night on four second-hand ahopa hare
by Special Agent Cutchlngs, of the
Norfolk navy yard. Detective Wright,
of Norfolk and a squad of United
States marines, navy, goods to the
value of $3,004 were recovered. The
stuff had been stolen by sailors and
marines, it is charged, from the navy
store rooms In the navy yard and either
pawned or sold at the shops'where It
was found.
