a brother of the dead man, voluntarily
surrendered himself to Deputy Sheriff
Chastain at the court house Tuesday

Kilpatrick was allowed a special
guard In lieu of going to jail until the
preliminary hearing Is had before
Judge Landrum. Attorney John W.
Moore has been employed to defend
Kilpatrick and the preliminary hear
ing will probably be held Wednesday.
