Wednesday afternoon teas a. charming

The house was attractively decorated
with palms and cut .flower* and In the
draw ing room, where Hie receiving par-
ty stood, while and yellow chrysanthe
mums were used. In the dining room
the table was covered with a lace cloth
and had for IU centerpiece a basket
filled with yellow chrysanthemums, the
Handle of the basket being tied with
tulle. The-Sliver candelabra held yel
low taper* capped with yellow shades.
The Ices and cakes were also In yellow.
Mr*. Berry wore a lavender brocaded
silk combined with lace and chiffon.
Mrs. Edgar wore an Imported white
lace gown made over satin.
Miss Dillon’* toilet was while salln
trimmed with flllet lace.
Miss Williams wore while silk and
lace.

at a small Informal luncheon Wednes
day at her home on North avenue In

Foreman gave a very unique parly to
a number of children. Inviting them to
hoar the story of "Peter Pan” before
attending the matinee Wednesday aft
ernoon at the Grand.
Barrie's beautiful conceit wns read
to the children by Mrs, Foreman and
carefully explained in them, so that
they are fully prepared to enjoy Maude
Adams' presentation of the play.

Sharpsburg. Ga, Nov. 8.—A marriage
of wide social Interest to the many
friends of the young couple was that of
Miss Florence Seay McDonald und Rev.
Richard M. Stevens, of this place, which
happy event occurred Tuesday after
noon at 4:30 o'clock at the home of the
bride, one and a half mile* from
Sharpsburg. The ceremony wa* per
formed by Rev. W. W. Roop, of Carroll
ton. In the presence of a large number
of relative# und friends of both bride
anti groom.
The groom I* a very popular young
man and a prominent minister of the
Gospel In Coweta county, lie has re
sided In Sharpsburg (or the past year,
where he-preaches two Sundays in the
month at the Raptlst church. He also
has charge of the Raptlst church at
Turin and White Oak. where he Is de
servedly very popular with hi* people.
The bride l» quite an accomplished
young lady of charming personality,
with u large circle of friends. She Is
qulle prominently connected through
out the countr.
Immediately after the ceremony. Mr.
and Mrs. Stevens left for Whittsburg,
Ga.. the former home of the groom
where they will be tendered a reception
al the home of the groom’s parents.

Sharpehurg. where they will reside.
