Hamilton Fell were quietly married
Wednesday evening at 8:45 o'clock at
the Presbyterian manse on Jackson
street. In the presence ot relatives and
few Intimate friends.
The ceremony was performed by Rev.
B. F. Gullle.
The bride wore a smart suit of castor
colored cloth, made with half-fitting
coat and plaited skirt, and worn-with
brown silk blouse and hat of brown
velvet trimmed with coral-colored tips.
Mr and Mrs. Fell left Immediately
after the ceremony for a trip south
ward Upon their return they will b?

The bride has many friends In At
lanta. where she has resided for sev
eral years. She was a trained nurse
and one of the brightest young women
In her profession. She formerly resid
ed In Eufaula, Ala.
Mr Fell holds a responsible position
with the A.. B. & A. railroad, and Is
well known In railroad circles,

At the meeting of the Cotillion Club
this week at the Capltal'city Club the

the cotillion would be danced at the

Very quiet and Impressive wee the
marriage this afternoon at 1:80 o’clock
at the Good Shepherd church of Miss
Harriet Plnkham and Mr. Clarence
Hanson, the ceremony being performed
by the Rev. Sherwood Whitney, of 81.
Paule church, and despite the fact that
no carde were sent out. th* church wae
filled with a throng of Interested
friends. Loving hands had adorned tlie
altar with a profusion of delicate ferns
amid which bloomed giant white chrys
anthemums In all their stately beauty,
and the entire recces chancel was softly
agleam with candles Innumerable.
There were no attendants and the
bride entered with her uncle, Mr. John
W. Dickey, by whom she we* presented
In marriage to the groom, who, attend
*d by his brother. Hr. Victor Hanson,
entered'through the vestry.
The bride wore a gnlng-away gown
of blue cloth with a blue hat trimmed
In uncurled ostrich feathers. No flow
ers were carried, but Instead a white
vellum bound prayer book from which
the marriage service was read. Imme
diately after the ceremony 'Mr. and
Mr*. Hanson left for Savannah, from
which point they will sail for New York
via the City of Savannah.
Returning they will be with Miss
McCoy on the Hill.
Although no formal curds of Invita
tion were sent out, over two hundred
exquisite presents were received.
There Is no young woman In Augusta
who enjoys a more delightful social
prominence than does Mrs. Hanson.
She Is a representative of a faintly dis
tinguished for Its beautiful and charm
ing women and no member of this fam
ily Is more richly endowed with these
good gifts than Is Mrs. Hanson. Pos
