The eubject for discus sion was: "Resolved, That the tendency toward civilisation was desirable." The Clc- eronlan upheld the affirmative and were represented by Parker Moeeley from Rockmart, Ga., of the clan of ’98, and A. A. Lummus of McDonough, Go., of the class of ’«5. The Phi Deltas spoke In defense of the negative and were represented by W« 1’. Wright, of Ma con, of the class of ’09, and James C. Kates, of Covington, Ga., of the clast of ’10.
