Another happy feature of the afternoon wan the drawing of favorn, of which a number of beautiful one* were placed in a big banket covered with holly sprayed paper, sustentive of Fhrlitman. In addition to the pretty left drawn front the banket, each child- wnn presented with a little Teddy Bear mieii with candy. The marriage ceremony was per formed by Rev. W. L. Richards, pastor of the Albany Baptist church, under a large floral bell which bung In the main hallway. First came to matron of honor, Mrs. J. Hllsman Walters, horself a bride of less than a month, on the arm of Mr. Donald Davis, brother of the bride; then Miss Ethel McDonald, of Cuth- bert. maid of honor; the groom and his best man, Mr. 1* D. Sharp, of At lanta: the bride, on the arm of her father. The bride wore a gown of white chif fon cloth made over, silk, satin trim med. with bertha and yoke of rose point lace. Her long veil was caught with a cluster of orange blossoms. The golng-away gown was a blue cloth traveling suit with hat to match: Mrs. Davis, mother of the bride, wore an elegant toilet of white Irish lace ever silk. Miss Bozeman was formerly one of the most popular teachers In the city public school. Mr. Snxon'ls a prominent business man of the city. Miss Ethel Allln and Air. Robert Shand Russell, formerly of Atlanta, were married Wednesday night at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Airs. Jewett Allln, at Chattanooga. The home was profusely decorated with palms, ferns, Ivy and white carnations. Before the appearance of the bridal party Airs. L. O. Walker sang "Call Ale Thine Own." She was accompanied by Professor Roy Smith on the piano nnd Professor Cndek on tho violin. At the conclusion of the beautiful solo Pro fessor Smith played the Lohengrin bridal chorus, while the bride nnd her .attendants took their places. Carl and Jewett Allln. Jr., tho two brothers of tho bride, walked with the white rib bons from tho Toot of the staircase to the Improvised altar In the front par lor, where Dr. J. W. Bachman and Dr, T. H. AIcCatllc awaited the coming of the bride. The ribbons were then car ried on to a door In the back parlor, making an aisle for the entrance of the bridegroom and his best man, his brother, Air. Edmond Russell. When they had take.n their places beside th* clergymen, the little nower girl, Catherine,, daughter of Air. and Mrs. John Allln. came slowly down the stair, way. She was gowned In .white lin gerie, lace and ribbon trimmed, and bore a large basket of bridesmaid roses. Close behind her came tho matron of honor, Mrs. Carl Allln, Immediately irecedlng the bride, who entered with er father and was Joined by the groom before the altar. The bridal toilet was a gown of rich prlncesse lace over white silk, the veil of tulle fastened to the hair with a wreath of orange bios- LIST OF DISTRICTS EMBRACED IN GEORGIAN’S VOTING CONTEST groom. The bouquet was of wliil with pendant tulle and orange oios- soms. The matron of honor was gowned In pale blue French net, made decollete and trimmed with bands Of soft mcssallne. Dr. Bachman said the nuptial service, using a ring which had been made from the wedding rings of three generations In the bride’s family. Dr. McCalllc de. Ilvered the closing prayer. Professor Smith, accompanied by Professor Cn- dek, softly played "Traumeri" during the cerepiony. A beautiful reception followed the ceremony. The golng-away gown was a brown tailored broadcloth, with velvet hat and sweeping plumes of brown and tan. With It were worg gloves of the same shade and a mink muff and boa. Air.
