City sad State.) i CONTEST DISTRICT NUMBER I NOT GOOD AFTER DEC. 19. Although Friday la rainy, yet the ar dor of the candidate* In the great race for the thousand dollars In cash and the many other line prizes In The Geor. glan’s great popular voting contest* has not been dampened, aa can be seen from the large number of subscrip tions being received by the contest department. And Atlanta la not the only place where the subscriptions came from. Letters were received from all parts of the state, and subscrip tions came In In large numbers. One of the notable things nbout Frl day was the fact that there were i number of out-of-town candidates In the city to see the contest manager, and they brought in a large number of subscriptions. All seemed to want the extra money prizes, the offer of which closes Saturday night at 10 o’clock, and many city and out-of-town can didates came In to make sure that their subscriptions were received In time, eo that they would count on the extra vote offer. continually busy trying to get the new subscriptions placed on the list, so that the subscribers would receive the pa pers right away; More subscriptions camo In Friday than tiny other day of the contest thus far. and this shows that the candidates are awakening to the fact that the race Is now on In ear. neat, and that they must hurry If they would keep up with the leaders. There Is Just one more day of the extra vote olfer and of the extra money award offer, so those who are Inter ested will have to get Into the race with a vim and moke the remaining hours count If they want to get as many clubs as some now have. Now Is undoubtedly the time for you to do your best work, while the extra vote offer Is on, .for a subscription counts for more now than It has at any other time during the contest, so let your friends know that you are In the race with the determination of winning and get them to give you that long- promised subscription while It will count for more votes than ever before. Don’t overlook the fact that a little ork now will be worth more to you than a lot'of work later. Do not overlook the fact, either, that there are ninety-four prizes, and that any one of them Is well worth all the efTort that you have to use to win. Take, for Instance, the ten Kingsbury pianos, secured from the Cable Plano Company. Tell us who would not like to have one of them, especially when ivt are offering them to you at no cost whatever. Remember, you do not have to pay one cent nor do you have to H end one cent to win any of tha prizes for we ore going to give them to you ii.r getting us subscriptions. Of course there Is no certain number, you have to get In order to win, but It Is, the totes. It will naturally be the ones who get the subscription* that will win.
