790 Pieces of Furniture To : I
Fly Tlie Blue Tad T omorrow
Of course you know what the Blue Tag is
--'and of course you want to know why these 790
pieces are to leave us via tlxe Blue Tag Route.
We'll tell you:
Our Furniture Store has been undergoing
some vital and delightfully progressive changes.
Cleaning up, combining, consolidating, revis
ing, enlarging, developing, eliminating—bringing
the department up and forward to its present state
of completeness and perfection—are the processes
that have been absorbing brain and time fo r months. '
All this means good-bye to a lot of the pieces
on the floor.
Some of these pieces are patterns that are go
ing to he discontinued; either because the factory
is not going to make them any more or because we
are not going to carry them longer.
Many of the lines are “sold down" to a piece
or two, leaving an incomplete assortment—a rem
nant. These we do not wish to place on our
floors as part of the full regular stock. ^
Most of the 790 pieces are odd—don't quite
**fit in" with the other stock and don't exactly
harmonize with the current patterns and the New
Things.
Some few of them are passe—good, very
good in their way, hut a tit old-fashioned. Not
defective, you understand, but a trifle out-of-date.
On the other hand, just lots of them—indeed
about 90 percent of them—are desirable from every
point of view, good, serviceable, useful, artistic and
worthy,—Furniture that would grace any home
in Atlanta.

Merely the indicating straws, these; but
they will serve to mark the direction of this
^iVind of Opportunity. . They give you some
conception of the determination and earnestness
with, which we re going into this Sale.
A Master Merchant, a Captain of Business,
was asked the secret of his brilliant success. “I've
always seen to it,” he said, “that the man at my
end of the bargain was all rigkt."
Simple, kut infallibly, mevitakly sure!
And the reason why you have faith in this
store is that it has never shaded its statements,
nor varied from the truth, nor failed to make its
Printed ^[Vord fit with the facts.
And so when we tell you that this Sale,
planned for tomorrow, is a Sale which places Good
Values m the center of the stage, you will, we
are sure, be “among those present.'' And we don't
need colossal, spectacular and rattling superlatives
to make you come.
Our end of the bargain is all right—and that's
all you want to know.
