Russell, of Atlanta, is walling for a ship to take her and her companions off. But that they are safe on any kind ot land la enough to satisfy the castaways of the Ill-fated Aeon. The steamship Mnnnkua is due ut Fanning Island, near their refuge, on Tuesday, and will ick up the Involuntary marooners. Mr. Russell has received a telegram frem the steamship agent at San Francisco that Mrs. Riddle Is safe with the rest of the Aeon's passengers, the ngent having received a cablegram to that effect. The Aeon left San Francisco on July 6 for Sydney, New South Wales, and was long overdue. It Is now learned that Inshore currents wrecked her on Christmas Island, an atoll near the equator.
