the prettily appointed table, where U

living In the house leaped from bed and
hastily turned on the electric lights.
Before she had time to Investigate, a
burglar, hiding In some other part of
the bouse, reached for an outside switch
and quickly cut off the lights. He was
then heard aa he made a haaty exit from
the house. Before assistance could be
summoned the marauder had made good
bin escape.
The burglar effected entrance thru a
rear door.
It waa discovered Wednesday morn
ing that a lattice door on the back
porch of the home of J. H. Pitman, next
door, had also been broken open. No
further attempt, however, waa made to
enter the house. Nothing was missed
from the Randolph home except some
fruit from the eldeboard.
