Do you know what every little girl
liken bent of all?
Watch the little girls you know—see
how they hug their dolln close to their
hearts. It Is the Instinct of motherhood
that comes to even the tiniest of little
women.
A doll—that Ih what every little girl
loves beat of all. If you could peep
thru the duat-begrlmed windows of the
poorest tenementa you would see these
little mothers caressing an old rag baby,
perhaps only a bit of broomstick
wrapped In a remnant of soiled calico—
but none the less a darling to the child
who holds It and loves It and pours out
to It all the secrets of her little heart.
Wouldn't a real dolt with blue eyes
and flatten hair bring a wonderful
Christmas to one of these little ones? It
wouldn't matter that tt‘ were cheap
entail—It wouldn't matter that sol
more fortunate little girl had cast It
aside for tome newer favorite—It Would
find a new mother, who would love It
and prtse It more than anything else she
could hnve.
So don't forget the dolls In making
your offering of toye.
