DID "TOY PISTOL"
WOUND A CHILD?
The case of Susie Matthews, who
sued John Caldwell, a West End mer
chant, for injuries she received from a
pistol claimed to have been bought
from him amhln which a rfon-sult waa
allowed to be taken by Judge Reid, waa
eent back to the city court for trial by
a Jury In a decision bonded down by
the court of appeals Tuesday.
The suit was died by the child's
father aa her next friend, and It waa
alleged that Caldwell had sold her a
email pistol which he claimed woe a
toy, but which shot a mitmll bullet. In
firing the gun the child was shot thru
the hand and It waa claimed that he
violated the law with regard to Belling
weapons to minors. When the caso
came up for trial Judge Reid allowed a
non-suit to be taken on motion of the
defendant's counsel.
In remanding the cute the court held
that while an Injury might bs received
from a toy pistol, yet there le a suffi
cient element of doubt In the case in
question to Juetlfy a hearing before a
lury.

The Stomach Does
Not Cause Dyspepsia
Neither Will It Cure It Because
the Lack of Gastric Juices
Prohibit Relief.
The stomach la a strong, powerful
organ, which Is composed of muscles
of great strength. It la filled during
digestion with gastric Juices which,
when the stomach, extending and com
pressing the food, dissolve It nnd sepa
rate the nourishment from the waste
matter. If, however, these gastric
Juices are lacking, the stomach Is not
capable of digesting Its food because It
' is not the tools with which to work
successfully.
The gastric Juices when In a perfect
slate do away with all foul odors, fer
mentation and decay, reduce the food
to a disintegrated mass and the stom
ach then presses It Into the Intestines
where another form of digestion takes
plnce. Then the Intestines take from
thle mass of food all that la nourish
ing and give It to the blood. The waste
■natter Is thrown from the system.
If Instead of nourishment the Intes
tines receive Impure deposits combined
with a poisonous and Imperfect gastric
Juice. It can be readily seen that they
must turn such Imperfect nourishment
Into the blood. The blood then being
unable to give each part of the body
that which It requires, becomes Im
poveriahed and disease Is spread broad,
cast.
Stuart's Dyspepsia Tablets corrects
such a condition at once. If the gas
tric Jutcea are lacking and Imperfect
these tablets do their work Just the
same. They build up the elements In
the Juicy which are lacking and re
move those elements which cause dis
turbance.
