The New Spring
This is a plain and simple account of a yery
elaborate and fascinating subject.
Space is at a premium in Suit Department
these days, so rapidly and steadily have the new
Spring models piled into their places on racks and
shelves.
But they're here—in an array of color and
grace such as the women of Atlanta have seldom
had opportunity to enjoy.
The Tailored Suit first. Naturally this
gown—the one that must hear the brunt of the
wear—claims first attention. One may or may
not have a silken frock, a frou-frou of lace and
frills and things. But one must have a tailored
gown.
Here it is: The " "dressy tailored or the
severe type. The light colored, the dark or one
of those well-bred neutrals. The conservative
style for mother or Aunt Jane, the semi-conserv-
ative for the less timorous, the long, slim, clingy
models for t^hose who tread closest to Dame Fash
ion s heels, the ultra, the plus ultra and the ne plus
ultra for all who want them.
This, you see, covers the case so far as varie
ty is concerned. Same remarks might he made of
the colors.
Only this—there are some new shades of
grey, coral, mauve, sage and blue that are simply
irresist. hie. Ask to see them when you come.
Here are White Wool Suits in English
Serges and Diagonals, coats 27 to 40 inches long.
Gored skirts with or withou folds. $17.50 to
$35.00.
White Wools with hairline stripes in black,
blue and green. Fancy collars, pockets and but
tons of rep. Some have big pearl buttons. Some
with empire skirts. $25 to $35.
Fancy weaves,—chevrons, marquisettes, silk
poplins, tweeds, chiffon cloths, prunellas, m very
new cuts and m the usual colors besides a charm
ing run of the new shad es mentioned above. The
coats are m plain style or of fancy cut with large
pockets of the material or of velvet, rep or Persian
stuff, which is also used for the collar. $25 to $50.
Marquisette and Voile Suits are among the
dressy. Tke coats are braided and silk-trimmed,
gold and silver braids and Persian embroidery hav
ing the place of prominence. $40 to $85.

blue, rose, wistaria, tan and green. $50 to $150.
When are you coming? Let it be very soon
if you want to see them all m their freshness and
bloom. Already the fastidious shopper is picking
and choosing. Out-of-town folks are hieing them
hither to choose while the choosing is good.
Come soon.
