Space is at a premium in Suit Department these days, so rapidly and steadily have the new Spring models piled into their places on racks and shelves. But they're here—in an array of color and grace such as the women of Atlanta have seldom had opportunity to enjoy. The Tailored Suit first. Naturally this gown—the one that must hear the brunt of the wear—claims first attention. One may or may not have a silken frock, a frou-frou of lace and frills and things. But one must have a tailored gown. Here it is: The " "dressy tailored or the severe type. The light colored, the dark or one of those well-bred neutrals. The conservative style for mother or Aunt Jane, the semi-conserv- ative for the less timorous, the long, slim, clingy models for t^hose who tread closest to Dame Fash ion s heels, the ultra, the plus ultra and the ne plus ultra for all who want them. This, you see, covers the case so far as varie ty is concerned. Same remarks might he made of the colors. Only this—there are some new shades of grey, coral, mauve, sage and blue that are simply irresist. hie. Ask to see them when you come. Here are White Wool Suits in English Serges and Diagonals, coats 27 to 40 inches long. Gored skirts with or withou folds. $17.50 to $35.00. White Wools with hairline stripes in black, blue and green. Fancy collars, pockets and but tons of rep. Some have big pearl buttons. Some with empire skirts. $25 to $35. Fancy weaves,—chevrons, marquisettes, silk poplins, tweeds, chiffon cloths, prunellas, m very new cuts and m the usual colors besides a charm ing run of the new shad es mentioned above. The coats are m plain style or of fancy cut with large pockets of the material or of velvet, rep or Persian stuff, which is also used for the collar. $25 to $50. Marquisette and Voile Suits are among the dressy. Tke coats are braided and silk-trimmed, gold and silver braids and Persian embroidery hav ing the place of prominence. $40 to $85. .t ■ ■ -f Grey gowns from lightest pearl to the pepper and salt mixtures and in narrow and broad stripes —are shown in a very stunning variety. Mar quisette, voile, rajah and light fancy weaves hand somely embroidered and braided. Three-piece Suits with the loveliest of fancy coats.
