The Atlanta Georgian
AND NEWS
Twins
We have placed an
other contract with the
Goss Press Company to
bring our present
up to the exact size
capacity of our new
press.
This will give us two
five-deck quintuples,the
first ever built, and these
two monsters, worth
fifty thousand dollars,
standing side by side,
reaching to the second-
story window of the
average house,
be the most wonderful,
if not the largest, press
equipment in the South.
At first we had thought
it a great deal to add the
enormous “quintuple”
to our present equip
ment, and move into
our larger and more cen
tral home, but things are
picking up so with us
and our faith in Atlanta
is so strong that we de
cided not to make two
bites of one cherry, and
we gave out the order
to make our plant com
plete at once.
On Thursday we could
hardly get our paper
into 20 pages; on Friday
it was the same, and to
day it will be 20 or 24,
and do you realize that
those papers' for ONE
DAY weigh over five
tons, and what a string
of little men are stretch
ed out over Georgia
every nightcarryingthat
five tons of Georgians?
Great, isn't it, and we
are awfully proud of it,
too.
