Mr. J. E. Bartlett and Miss Temple
Sapp were quietly married at the home
of their pastor, Bev. T. S. Hubert,
Douglas, Ga., In the presence of a few
friends on last Thursday afternoon at
6 o’clock and left on the 11 p. m. train
for Atlanta, where they are the gueste
of her sister, Mm. E. C. Wllkerson.
Mr. Bsrtlett Is the oldest son of Rev.
G. A. Bartlett, formerly of Atlanta, but
now of Beaumont, Texas.
Miss Sapp Is a member of a well
known ‘family.! They will visit Warm
Springs. Llthla. Tallulah Falls and
other points before returning home.

members, to meet new ones, and for
the mutual advancement In the cause

The church was decorated with

bridal party entered the church, the

were met at the improvised altar of
palms and ferns by the minister, who
performed the ceremony In a most Im
pressive manner.
The bride was beautifully gowned In
white lace and net made princess over
white taffeta and carried a shower bou
quet of bride roses.-
