Directors Meet at Chamber
on Friday Night.
A special meeting of tho directors of
the Atlanta Horse Show association will
bo held at S:30 o'clock Ifrlday night In
the offices of the Chamber of Com
merce In the Empire building, nt which
time matters of great Importance con
cerning the forthcoming show will be
considered. The show this year Is to
take place In the Auditorium-Armory
and will be a four-dav event, the dates
being October 19. 20. 21 and 22.
The extension of the show to a four-
day event gives opportunity for a much
greater variety In classes than has been
possible with post hors* shows In At
lanta, and In order to All these classes
with the very highest bred entries the
association will offer much more at
tractive prizes than ever before.
All signs point to the most success
ful show ever held In Atlanta and the
directors will work arduously from this

Washington, Aug. 27.—The Washing
ton Investors’ Protective association to
day began the construction of an aero
plane. A dozen members of the asso
ciation are to assist In building the
