An Interesting event of the past week
at Highlands, N. C, was a golf tour'
nament at which 80 guest., were pres'
ent. among these being several Atlanta
people.
The hostesses of the occasion were a
group of Georgia girls. Misses Mildred
Cunningham, Elizabeth Malone, Lucy
Burrow, Sarah Cunningham, Susunno
Orantland, Sophie Meldrim and Jane
Meldrlm.
Twenty couples entered the contest,
the best score being mde by Mils Su
sanna Grnntland, of Griffin, and Mr.
Harry Hall, of Atlanta. The prizes
were hand-painted sketches of local
views. Miss Orantland, who was one
of the hostesses, presented her prise to
Miss Marian Nutting, of Atlanta.
Lunch wns served after the contest,
at 12 o'clock.
