E-M-F SHOPS RUNNING FULL BLAST
AND DELIVERIES MADE PROMPTLY
Bcrauas of ths legal contaal that has been waged between the E-M-F Company
and the fitudebakcr Automobile Company since th* cancellation of the selling agree
ment between them, the public has been led to believe that the big K M-F plants in
PstsoU were (dosed down. This report U crophaticaliy denied by President and Gen
eral Manager Flanders. . . t W . . . .
“Not only are we not closed nor running a short force, but we havw not abut
down our factory at any time,” *aid Mr. Flandera recently.
“For three days early in Deeember we were prevented by a temporary restrain
ing order, from shipping cars, hut the court* have all along refused to tie up the fac
tories or to interfere in the slightest with their operation. Since the restraining
order was dissolved we have sold over 10,000 cars to dealers."
Naturally competitors haw taken advantage of the hre*k between the two con
cerns to lead prospective buyers into the belief that the E-M-F Company could not
make deliveries promptly.* . . ..... , .
On this point President Flanders waa most explicit. "We are now turning out
E-M-F *no* cars at the rate of «0 per day or 1,500 per month—in other words, we
are operating our plants to their full capacity. Really the tvmporary halt In salsa
caused by our decision to market our own product direct, has worked to the advantage
of dealers snd buyers, for it enabled us to catch up with the demand and to get
enough cars shvad in the early winter months to take better care of customers now
and in the rush spring months, than would otherwise have been possible."

The play emphasise, the lesson that

Miss Davis as Kate Hathaway, the

cleverness In the scenes In which she
grows enthusiastic over the woman’s

she returns from the meeting, bedrag

LIST OF CONTESTANTS
IN THE GEORGIAN’S $30,000
CONTEST
T HE last list but two which will be shown you before the close of the con
test (February 26) is given below. Contestants are not responding very
readily to our invitation to get in and win their prizes now, during the life of
the ten-day clubbing offer, which will close at 9 o’clock tonight. .We admit that
we are unable to understand this, but that it is a fact can not be disputed. We
have talked to you so much about the importance of doing your very best work
while this offer was in force that we know very well that you can not possibly
have misunderstood us. You have only a few hours left before the close, and
yet in this short time you can do wonders in the way of securing subscrip
tions if you will only try. Mail your subscriptions before 9 o’clock tonight and
they will be counted just the same as if you had brought them in person and
given them to the Contest Manager before that hour. It doesn’t matter how
far from Atlanta you may live, this gives you an equal advantage with your
opponents living in the city. We expect to hear from you today or tomorrow.
Don’t disappoint us.
