direct by H. H. Felder. The White
Orpington breed was originated lnEng-
innd and Mr. Felder decided he would

direct from the Orpington source.
It Isn’t known whether the English
fouls drop their altches when they
cackle, but they are expected to drop
their algs, for which a fancy price will
he demanded.
Messrs. Fielder and Bowman are the

Mr. Felder recently sold all his fine
chicken* to Mr. Bowman and Is starting
anew with the English chickens. Both
are preparing to take all the prises at
the county fair thla year. Recently
they sold 110 worth of chickens In Ca
milla and 110 worth In Pelham. Last
.'spring Mr.. Bowman sold twenty White
BOnlngton eggs to a man In Athens for

well he bought a cockerel from Mr.

H. F. Lilly Is another enthusiastic
breeder and has a beautiful lot of White
Leghorns. Mrs. Wallace Mathews Is
another successful breeder of tho line

thru the countv have taken to breeding
fhnev fowls. The poultry exhibits at
■ the 'fair this fall will be by far the
finest ever seen In this section.
