Toledo, Ohio. June 16.—Hie cheat
crushed by a horse which becoming
frightened plunged into his automobile
a mile south of Archlbold rate last
night, Qeorge Oorauch. an automobile
agent of Wauseon. died of hla Injuries
at the home of Albert Grime near here
this morning.
Emil Hinder, of Elmira, who waa
driving the automobile, was badly cut,
the automobile was wrecked and the
horse was killed. Joseph Leu and fam
ily, who were in the buggy drawn by
the horse, escaped uninjured.

Birmingham. Ala.. Juns 16,—The Kns-
ley rail mill of the Tennessee. Cost and
Iron Company resumed manufacture of
trunk line rails today after a shut down
of about sis weeks and with orders suf
ficient to keep the plant going indefinite
ly. About three thousand men hava re
turned to work.

Trieste, June 16.—The death roll In
the hurricane which yesterday swept
the coast of Istrta and Dalmatia was
today placed at 127. Scores of vessels
were sunk In the Adriatic sea. The
hospitals are full of Injured. Thirty
bodies have been recovered. Nearly 100
others are missing.
