Co.: The wheat market has a weak un
dertone. with outside Interest slight. The
volume of offerings of the new crop will
play on important part In price-making
on firm spots. It looks as tho the short
side should be taken.
The precipitation which has taken place
_.nce Saturday covers an Important por
tion of the corn belt which needed It.
The movement continues In good volume,
but the market does not act weak and
seems to meet good buying on all depres
sions. For the present we do not care
to take the short side.
Okta prices hold well, considering the
vast amount of selling which has taken
—; the past few days. We con-
leve in values and advise pur
chases on weak spots.
The provision market does not ahow any
Inherent strength. .. .
Local and commission houses the prin-
L,.pal buyers of oats. The crop reports on
oats continue coming In had. Advices
from northwestern Iowa not good, and
this is from a territory^ where up to now
conditions have been about perfect. Be
lieve September oats a purchase.
