CAPITALISTS WILL BUILD

Dalton, Ga., June 19.—It Is learned
here today from scmt-oAlclal sources
that a party of capltaliata will reach
Dalton eelther Tuesday or Wednesday

Milldlng a railroad between Dalton and

The proposition Is to utilize tho road-

seized one of the guns on her way to
the kitchen, turned around and leveled
It at the Tories. Nancy, tho a very
estimable lady, os I have said, was
cross-eyed, and as she sighted along
the barrel of her gun every one of those
Tories thought she was pointing at him.
So they all aat there, not even daring
to eat Nancy’s chickens, until her
daughter, whom she had sent for help,
arrived with some loyal troops and
every last Tory was captured.
"After that, of course, the name of
the county had to be changed from
Franklin to Hart. My own town 1s
Hajtwell and was founded by my
grandfather, John B. Benson. He set
tled In that region on the banks of the
Savannah In northeast Georgia, becauso
he said he wanted to get away from the
railroads. But about the Ant thing he
did, sir, wss to build the Hartwell rail
road, ten miles long, which connects
with the Elberton Air Line, a branch of
the Southern railway.
Grandfather Benson was a wag. HU
