Man Who Captures Attorney
Within Bounds of South Car
olina Will Get $200.
Columbia, 8. C., June 24.—Governor
Cole Blease has Issued a procla
mation offering a reward of 4200 for the
arrest of Thomas B. Felder, the Atlanta
attorney. This action was taken fol
lowing Governor Brown's refusal lo
honor requisition papers.
Tho proclamation states that Mr.
Felder has been Indicted. W. A. Hol
man, the attorney representing South
Carolina, sold at the hearing In Atlanta
thnt Mr. Felder had not been Indicted.
The proclamation In part says;
"Now, therefore, I. Cole L. Blease,
governor of the state of South Caro
lino. In order that Justice may be done
and the majesty of the law vindicated,
do hereby offer a reward of two hun
dred ($200) dollars for the apprehension
and delivery of Ihe said Thomas B.
Felder to the sheriff of Newberry coun
ty at any point within the state ^of
South Carolina.”

Chicago, Juno 24,—Moss Enright, al
leged to be the leader of a gang of la
bor sluggers which has defied police
and murdered a score of men, has been
Indicted by the grand Jury on a charge
of murdering William Gentleman In a
loop saloon several weeks ago. Enright
claims he killed Gentleman In self-de
fense. The slain man also was a slug
ger.

Chanty Hospital at Valdosta.
Valdosta, Ga* June 24.—If present
ilana are carried out, Valdosta will
avs a charity hospital. In order for
the city to establish and maintain the
hospital. It will be necessary to have
the charter of the city amended and
a bill authorizing this will be Intro
duced in the next legislature. There
are already two private Inatltutfone
here, but neither of them have charity
wards. Whether one ot these wlil be
taken over by the city or whether new
buildings will be erected Is not yet oet-

western Fisheries Company, part of the
Booth concern, and for many years
active head of the Morgan and Gug
genheim Interests In Alaska, Is dead In
the Seattle Athletic club, a suicide. Ho
killed himself with a revolver. A note
pinned to the pillow of his bed said

Thomas P. Wlckes received’s delayed
Invitation from his old college friend.

Wlckes whiling away the time with
his cellmate at a game of cards when
Jailer White delivered the Invitation.
