satin, with a garniture of pearls, the

Summer Plans of Atlanta s Social World
The extremely warm weather of the
latter part of June has hastened the de
parture of many Atlanta people who
usually remain In the city until July 1.
Many have made the tripe to nearby
resorts, Llthla, Indian Springs, Warm
Springs, Wrlghtavllle and Tate, dur
ing the past two weeks, preceding the
more extended stay thru July and Au
gust.
Among the many who plan trips of
more or lees extent and duration dur
ing the remainder of the summer are

UNVEIL MONUMENT
The Piedmont Continental chapter.
D. A. R., will unveil a monument at In
dian Springs on July 1. at 2:30 o’clock.
A large delegation will attend. Includ
ing state officers.and members of the
Atlanta chapters, will go to Indian
Springs for the occasion. Trains will
leave Atlanta for that point on Satur
day morning at 7:45 from the Terminal
station, arriving In time for dinner at
the Wfgwun, after which the exercises
will begin, closing In time for the dele
gation to catch the train, leaving about
4:30 or 5 o'clock.
