The Kind You Have Always Bought.
THIS is the caution applied to the public announcement of Oastoria that has
1 teen manufactured under the supervision of-Chas. H. Fletcher for over
30 years—the genuine Oastoria, We respectfully call the attention of fathers and
motherfe when purchasing Oastoria to see that the wrapper bears his signature in
black. When the wrapper is removed the same signature appears on .both sides
of the bottle in red. Parents who have used Oastoria for their little ones in the
S ast years need no warning against counterfeits and imitations, but our present

duty Is to call the attention of the younger generation to the great danger o:
ducmg into their families spurious medicines,
It is to be regretted that there are people who are now engaged in the
nefarious business of putting up and selling ail sorts of substitutes, or what should
more properly be termed conterfeits, for medicinal preparations not only for
adults, but worse yet, for children’s medicines. It therefore devolves on the mother
to scrutinize, closely what she gives her child. Adults can do that for themselves
but the child has to rely on the mother’s watchfulness.

Next Speaker of House Enlists
With Advocates of Admit
ting Them to Bar.
About one week alfice, a woman, Mrs.
Minnie Anderson Hale, wa* graduated
from the Atlanta Law achool ■ and ap
plied to the auperlor court for admis
sion to the bar. 8he waa refuaed ad-
sled that It would not be long until
action would be taken looking toward
removing woman's disabilities In this
respect.
Now comes an announcement which
would seem to presage a fulfillment of
this prophecy. A bill permitting women
to practice law In Georgia will be In
troduced In the legislature, which con
venes Wednesday, and what Is mpre. It
will have a strong backing, if such 1*
needed. Hon. John N. Holder, who Is
slated for election as speaker of the
house, has announced his Intention of
Introducing such a bill, and feels aure
that he will have little difficulty In get
ting It thru.
Speaking of the matter, Mr. Holder
said he felt that the state was many
years behind the times on that matter,
aa nearly all other states have removed
that old restriction, placed on the fe
male sex yeara ago. He anticipates
little trouble In aecurlng tha passage of
the bill, but says that In case he meets
opposition he thinks public sentiment
win support hlitt with enough force to
Insure the success of the measure.
There are doubtlees others In the
state legislative bodies who harbor the
same feeling toward the matter, and
certainly there are numerous others
who consider the law a rank Injustice
to woman. One among these Is Mrs.
J. J. Weaver, who has been a student
In the Junior class of the Atlanta Law
school during the past year. Mrs.
Weaver, like Mrs. Hale, stood well In
her classes, and la a woman bf high In
tellectual attainments In other lines as
well as In the law. She Is preparing a
letter to be mailed to representatives
and senators In the coming legislature
with reference to removing this
strlctlon, and feel* ceirtaln that
strenuous opposition . to the measure
will be encountered.
Both Mr*. Hal* and Mrs. Weaver are
omen of unusual mental capacity
are fully capable of successfully pt
tlclng their chosen profession. Both
have haft business experience, some of
eh had a legal side, and both have
»ued carefully the study of legal
matters. Mrs. Hale has resided In At
lanta more than fifteen years, while
Mrs. Weaver Is originally from West
Virginia; and haa made her home In
Atlanta for four years.
