Asset." and one by Hon. T. G. Hudson,
commissioner of agriculture, on "The
Farm, the Home and the School,’' fol
lowed by Profeasor J. E. Loworn, who
spoke on "The Improvement of the
Common Schools as an Aid and En
couragement to Successful Farming."

meeting of the farmers and bualnef*
men of the county end town held In the
court house at Hartwell Saturday, the
matter of a county fair was put on
foot. The matter was discussed by a
number of the leading, citizens nf the
town and county, among whom were
