under bonds of $100 each and will have

The October term of ths United i
States circuit court Is the last term of!
that branch of the United States court j
.to be held In thla section. "By an acti
I of congress, approved by President Taft
‘on March J of this year, all United
States circuit courts go out of existence
on January t, 1*12, and there will then
> be but the district court Branch. The
change Is In the Interest of simplicity
, of practice. At present the district side
I of tho court handles but little outside of
I criminal, admiralty and bankruptcy
matters. All big actions at law and
' patent lawsuits have been going to the
circuit branch, but after January 1 all
actions will go to the district court.
President Taft was at one time a Unit-
! ed States circuit court Judge and he
j knows that greater simplicity will come
of having but one side to the court.
O. C. Fuller Is at present the only
man In the country holding the com
bined position of circuit and district
• clerk.
