members of the Atlanta Typographical

' Because of the fact that B.- Lee

member of both the local typographical
and musicians unions and one time
president of the State Federation of
Labor, had announced for the offlee, as
well as McCarthy, tho local typos have

the Atlanta Federation was a frame-'up,

Chicago, Oct. 26.—Roger C. Sulli

knows of the deal whereby Democratic
votes for William Lorlmer for United

which Lorlmer gave Adlal Stevenson,
former vice president and Democratic
candidate far governor against Charles
8. Denaen at tha last election. The
senate committee which Is Investlgat
Ing charges of corruption In connec
tlon with Lortmer’s election has decided
to summon the millionaire Democratic
boss as a witness.
Senator John Kern, of Indiana, whom
brother senators say has always felt
that tha big moneyed Interests In the
Democratic party, such as Sullivan
represents, were largely reaponsible
thru bipartisan alliances for the de
feat of William J. Bryan and himself

vigorous in demanding that Sullivan be
led as a witness. Hs was anxious to
know at much ns possible of the bi
partisan deal* and disloyalty to the
democratic party, he declared.
Sullivan has long controlled the
Democratic war chest In Illinois, and
the committee believes he may reveal
something concerning the possession
of large amounts of money displayed by
election of Lorlmer.
Representative Thornes Tippett, of
Olney, 111., who revealed to the com
mittee the first details of ths Lorimer-
