Dr. Edwards' Olive Tablets are th«
one substitute for dangerous calomel.
They do all of calomel's work without
any of Its bad after effects.
There Is no necessity, when you take
Olivo Tablets, of. following them up
with nasty, sickening, griping salts or
castor oil, as you should after taking
calomel.
Oltve Tablets do riot contain calomel
or any other metallic drugs; they are a
purely vegetable compqund mixed with
olive oil, sugar-coated,. easy to take,
and never gripe or cause weakness.
Thousands of people take one every
night at bedtime Just to prevent disor
der of the liver, constipation, bad
breath, pimples, headache, etc.
■ Oltve Tablets arc made of pure vege
table compounds, mixed with olive oil.
Dr. Edwards, calomel’s old enemy,
discovered the formula for Olive Tab
lets after seventeen years of practice
among patients afflicted with liver and
bowel troubles.
Try them for a week. Take one on
retiring nightly.

A strange discovery lately made In
the walls of the old palace of the
Louvre shows that reinforced concrete
was by no means unknown In Paris
an far back as the sixteenth century,
when the rebuilding of the Louvre was
undertaken by that Industrious' builder,
Francis I. The Bulkier states that,
when executing works In connection
with the application of a 'modern lift,
the workmen employed found it neces
sary to cut thru some of the old walls,
which were, apparently, of dressed ma
sonry. But, to the surprise of the con
tractors, It was found that the stone
was nothing but the outer shell of con.
atructlon, largely composed of a kind of
reinforced concrete. In vl«w of the
generally entertained belief that this
is an essentially modern variety of
structural material, the proof of Its
employment between 100 and (00 years
ago Is* distinctly interesting.
