Their eertifi ates are published in my American

pleased to furnish free to all itiquinufl;.
Annexed we give Directions for their use in the
complaints which they have been found to cure.
For CosTiYJtJtwa. — Take one or two Pill*, or
such quantity as to gently more the bowel*. Co*-
tiveness ia frequently the aggravating cause of
Piles, and tho euro of one complaint is tho cure
of botk.4Xo person can feel well while under a
costive habit of body. Hence it should be, as it
,n be, promptly relieved.
For DTSFRrsiA, which is sometimes tho cause
of Cottirenets, and always uncomfortable, take mild
doses — from one to four — to stimulate the stomach
and liver into healthy action. They will do it, end
tho heartburn, body burn, and toulbum of dyspepsia
will rapidly disappear When it has gono, don’t

For a Foul Stomaoh, or Morbid Inaction o f the
Bosoele, which produces general depression of the
spirits and bad health, take from four to eight Pills
at first, and smaller dosss afterward*, until activity
and strength is restored to the system.
For Nervousness, Sicx Headache, Nausea,
Pom »n the Stomach, Back, or Side, take from four
to eight pills on going to bed. If they do not oper
ate sufficiently, take more the next day until they
do. Thcso complaint* will be swept out from the
system.^ Don’t wear these and their kindred dis-

For Scrofula, Erysipelas, aiui all Dittos**
9/ the Skin, take the Pills freely and frequently, to
keep the bowels open. The eruptions will gener
ally soon begin to diminish and disappear, many
dreadful ulcers and sores havo boon healed up by
the purging and purifying effect of these Pills, and
aome disgusting diseases which seemed tn saturate
the whole system have completely yicldoc to their
Influence, leaving the sufferer in perfrr'. health.
Patients l your duty to society forbids that you
ohottld parade yourself aroum" the world covered
with pimples, blotches, ulcers, seres, and alhor any
of the uncloan diseases of the skin, because your
system wants cleansing.
To PuniFk the Blood, they arc the best modi-;
cine ever discovered. They should be taken freely
and froquontly, and the impurities which sow the
seeds of incurable diseor.es will be swept out of the
2 stem like chaff before the wind. By this property
cy do os much good in preventing sickness ns by
the remarkable cures whirh they arc making every
where.
Liver Complaint, Jaundice, and all Bilious
Affections arise from somo derangement — either
torpidity, congestion, nr obstructions of the Liver.
Torpidity and congestion vitiatethp bile and render
it unfit for digestion. This is 'ffufasttnus to the
health, and the constitution is frequently under
mined by no other cause. Indigestion is the symp
tom. •Ob structiun of the duct winch empties the
bii« into the stomach causes the bile to overflow
into the blooiL This produces Jaundice, with a
long and dangerous train of evils. Cos tiveness, or
alternately costiveneis and diarrhma, prevails.
Feverish symptoms, languor, low spirits, weariness,
restlessness, and melancholy, witn sometimes in
ability to alcep, and sometimes great drowsiness;
sometimes there i t severe pain in the side; the skin
and the white of fr s eyes become a greenish yellow;
the stomach acid; the bowels tore to the touch;
the whole system irritable, with a tendency to.fever,

following note addressed to us yesterday :
Columbus, Ga., July 3?, I8fi7.
I think it my duty to inform the public thro’
your valuable paper, of a most remarkable cure
which was effected on a horse of .Mrs. King's,
which was taken in Broad street, and pnnouus
ced by knowing ones to be hopelessly affected
with the Bolts. I administered Eureka oil, snd
in a very short time tho horse was entirely re-
leived, to the astonishment of a crowd of spec
tators, merchants, countrymen and others, who
had been attracted to tho spot by tho agonies of
the animal. !iy giving this a place in your col
umns, you will confer a great favor on man and
