obstructions of the stomach, bowel*, liver, and otl.er
organs of the body, and, by restoring their irregular
action to health, correct, tvhcrevrr thoy cxiet, each
derangements ss are the first causes of disease.
An extensive trial of their virtue*, by Profceson,
Physicians, «ud Patient*, has shown cure* of dan
gerous diseases almost beyond belief) were they not
substantiated by person* of such exalted position
snd character as to forbhl the suapidon of untruth.
Their eertlfi atoa are published in my American
Almanac, ,h»ch the Agents below named are
pleased to furnish freo to all Inquiring.
Annexed we giro Directions for their o*e in tht
impltints which they have boon found to cure.
Fon Costivkk »ss.—Take one or Two Pills, of
such quantity as to gently move the bowels. Cos
tiveness is frequently the aggravating cause of
Pilks, and the cure of one complaint is the cure
of bolh.ftNo person cun foel well while under a
stive habit of body. Hence it should be, as it
n be, promptly relieved.
For uysfcfkia, which is sometimes the oause
of Cojftrsnrss, and always uncomfortable, take mild
dotes — from one to four ~ to stimulate the stomach
and liver into healthy action. They will do it, and
tlio heartburn, bodybum, and toulbvm of dyspepsia
will rapidly disappear When it ha* gone, don't
foraet what cured you.
For a Foul Stomal*, or Morbid Inaction of the
Bowls, which produces general depression of the
spirit* and bad health, take from four to eight Pill*
at first, and smaller doss* afterward*, until activity
and strength is restored to the system.
For Nb&vocinm*, Sick Hvadacki, Navira,
Pain in the Stomach, Baek, or Side, take from four
to eight pill* on going to bed. If they do not oper
ate sufficiently, take more the next day until they
do. These complaint* will be swept out from^th*
system.^ Don’t wear those and their kindred di*-
urders because your stomach is foul.
For Scrofula, Rutsii'clai, and aU Diseases
of the Skin, take the Fill* freely and frequently, to

My Dear Sir:—In justice to you and a duty
I ow e to a suffering, snd I may say, a world ol
coughing people, I .fte what your invaluable
Cough Remedy—your CHERRY EXPEL,'*
TQRANT—has done for me, when all other
remedies have failed to give any relief. In the
fall of 181V. living irv Su Louis, where I have
resided most of the Lime for the last six icon
years, I took a severe celd which settled on my
lungs, and was confined to my bed, and doaod
ami b/istcrcd by doctors for several weeks, iiul
finally got on my legs sgsin, hut not cured ol

for weeks I did not even raise a cough, tLaugl

North Caroline', I took a severe add, end my
coughing commenced sgsin, and also tha tick-

arriving in New Orleans, on tha 1 lb, Inst., on

Patients! your duty to society forbids that you
should psrsde Yourself arounT the world covered
with pimples, blotch**, ulcers, seres, and all or any
of the unclean diseases of the skin, because your
system wants cleansing.
To Punirv thi Blood, they are the best medi
cine ever discovered. They should be taken freely
and frequently, and the impuritiee which sow the
seeds of incurable disease* will bo swept out of the
S item like chaff before the wind. By this property
ny do as much good in preventing sickness ss by
the remarkable cures which they are making every
where.
Liven Complaint, Javkdicv, and all Btfiouii
Affections arise from some derangement —eithei*
torpidity, congestion, or obetructions of ths Liver.
Torpidity and congestion vitiate the bile and render
It unfit for digestion. This is disastrous to the
health, and ths constitution is frequently under
mined by no other cause. Indigestion is the symp*
tom.RObstruetion of ths.duct which empties tho
bile into the stomach causes the bile to overflow
into tho blood. This produces Jaundice, with
long and dangerous train of evils. Costiveness, or
alternately cosUveness and diarrhoea, prevails.
Feverish symptoms, languor, low spirits, weariness,
restlessness, and melancholy, with sometimes in
ability to sleep, and sometimes neat drowsiness;
sometimes there L severe pain in the side; the skin
and the whlto of & i eyes become a greenish ysllow;
the stomach add; the bowels sore to the touch;
tho whole system Irritable, with a tendency to fever,
ithkh may turn to bilious fever, bilious colic, bilious
dianhes, dysentery, &c. A medium doss of three
tr four Pills taken at night, followed by two or three
in the morning, snd repeated a few days, will rem(
the cause of oil these troubles. It is wicked to sul
such pains when you c..n curt them for 26 cents.
Hucumatism, Gout, and ail Inflammatory F+
cert are rapidly cured by ths purifying effects of
these Pills upon the blood and the stimulus which
they afford to the vital principle of Life. For these
and all kindred complaints they should be taken in
mild doses, to move ths bowels gently, but freely.
As a Dimkva Pill, this U both agreeable and
useful. No Pill can be made more pleasant to take,
and oertainly none has been made more effectual to
ths purpose for which a dinner pill is employed.

I think it my duty to inform the public thro’
