CATHARTIC PILES
O PKKAl tt by their powerful influenoe on tb*
iu tenia I viacern to purify the blood and itiim
l&U it into healthy action. They remove tt i
oostructiou* of the atonuch, bowels, liver, and otl.er
organs of the body, and, by restoring their irreguia/
action to health, correct, wherever they exlet, each
lfraugcmcnt* a* tie the lint cMtev* of dieeaae.
An extensive trial of their virtue*, by Professors,
Phyaiciana and Patients, ha* shown cures of dan
gerous disputes almost beyond belief, were they not
substantiated by persona of such exalted position
and character a* to forbid the suspicion of untruth.
Their certi<l ate* are published in my American
Almnn*', .hich the Agents below named art
pleased to furnish free to all iuuuiring.
Annexed we give Directions for their ute in the
complaints whicn they hate been found to eure.
For CoflTiVKNRas. — Take one or two Pille. oi
•ueh quantity as to gentlv move the bowels. C<
tiveness is frequently the aggravating cause of
Pilu, and the eure of one complaint is the cure
of both. No person can feel well while under a
costive habit of body. Hence it should be, as it
n be, promptly relieved.
For UTsrRPsiA, which is sometimes the eause
of Cnstireness, and always uneomfortable, take mild
doses — from one to four — to stimulate the stomach
and liver into healthy action. They will do it, and
the hemrthmm, bodybum, and soutbum of dyspepsia
will rapidly disappear When it hat gone, don’t
*>rget what curea you.
For a Foul Stomaim, or JUor&»rf Inaction o
Botoels, which produces general depression or the
apirits and bad health, take from four to eight Pills
at first, and smaller doses afterwards, until activity
and strength is restored to the system.
PouNrryousnbss, Sick Hhadachr, Navsia,
Pain in the Stomach, Back, or Side, take from four
to eight pills on going to bed. If they do not (
ate sufficiently, take more the neat day until
do. These complaints will be swept out from the
system. Don't wear these and their, kindred die*
irders because your stomach is foul.
For Scuotula. KnxaiPlLkk, and all D-'
Patients! your duty to society forbids that ysu
should parade yourself arounc the world covered
with pimples, blotches, ulcers, et res, and all or any
of the unclean diseases of the skin, because your
system wants cleansing.
To Purift thk Blood, they are the best medi
cine evei discovered. They should be taken freely
and frequently, and the impurities which sow tho
seeds of incurable diseases will be swept out of the
2 stem like chaff before the wind. By this property
ey do as much g»«d in preventing sickness ss oy
the remarkable eures which they are making every
where.
Litxr Complaint, Jaundice, and all Bilious
Affections arise from some derangement — either
torpidity, congestion, or obstructions of the Liver.
Torpidity and congestion vitiate the bile and rrnder
it unfit for digestion. This is disastrous to the
health, and the constitution is frequently under
mined by no other cause. Indigestion is tho symp
tom. •Obstruction of the duct which etnptis* the
bile Into the stomach causes the bile to overflow
Into the blood. This produces Jaundice, with a
long and dangerous train of evils. Costivcness, or
sltenutely costiveness and diarrhma, prevails.
Feveriah symptoms, languor, low spirits, weariness,
restlessness, and melancholy, with sometimes in
ability to sleep, and sometimes great drowsii
sometimes there L severe pain in the side; the ■»ui
and the white of tni eyes become a greenish yellow;
the stomach add; the bowels sore to the touch;
the whole system irritable, with a tendency to fever,
which may turn to bilious (rTer, bilious colic, bilious
dianbrns. dysentery, Ac. A medium dose of three
cr four Pills taken at night, followed by two cr three
in the morning, and repeated a ftw days, will remove
the eause of all these troubles. It is wicked to suffer
•ueb pains when you can cure them for 25 cents.
Hubumatism, Gout, and all Inflammatory Fe-
vers are rapidly cured by the purifying effects of
these Pills upon the blood and the stimulus which
th** afford to the vital principle of Life. For these
I kindred complaints they should be taken in
mild doses, to move the bowels gently, but freely.
As a Dikmbb Pill, this is both agreeable and
asefuL No Pill can be made more pleasant to take,
and certainly none baa been made more effectual to
the purpose for which a dinner pill is employed.

I think it my duty to inform the public thro*
your valuable paper, of a most remarkable cure
which was effected on a horse of Mrs. King'
which, waa taken iu Broad street, and pronoun-
eedby knowing ones to he hopelessly offectcd
with the Bolts. I administered Eureka oil,and
in a very short time the horse was entirely re-
leived, to tho astonishment of s crowd of spec
tators, merchants, countrymen and others, who
had been attracted to lh* »i>ot by the agonies of
the animal. By giving this a place in your col
umns, you will confer a great favor on min and

A filleted Read I
I called to see a Lady from Alabama, who
had come to Atlanta on a visit. When I en
tered the room, I found her sitting in s chair
with the glands of her neck so much swollen
and inflamed, that she could not turn hei head
to the right or loft, to speak so as to he heard
across the room. I prevailed with her to try Eu«
r-’ka Oil. Nhe consented, tod commenced by
rubbing it well on the throat, and gargling fre
quently, and to my great astonishment, in three
dayi she pronounced herself effectually cured,
•nd left for Alabama with a good supply of the
justly celebrated Eureka Oil. Bold only by
