He received 702 of the 979 votes cast, on first ballot. He was then made unanimous choice ot the conven tion after which adjournment was taken till 10 o’clock today when a vice presidential candidate will be chosen. The following is a list of names of the candidates, (except President Roosevelt who was not a candidate hut received "3 votes) and the vote each received. For Joseph B. Foraker of Ohio 16 votes.
